The National Center for Research and Development informs the draft program entitled “The government program NUTRITECH – nutrition in the light of the challenges of improving the well-being of society and climate change” was approved.
The program’s main goal is to increase the availability of products and solutions for proper nutrition by implementing the research and development results, taking into account the principles of sustainable development.
The specific objectives of the program are:
- implementation of developed solutions (pro-health products, nutritional plans, processes, technologies and accompanying services) reducing the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases (including diet-related diseases).
- implementation of developed solutions (personalized diet, pro-health products, supporting tools, services) addressed to people suffering from chronic non-communicable diseases.
- implementation of the principles of sustainable development through technological solutions in the production and distribution of pro-health food.
A budget of PLN 200 million is planned for the implementation of the program, and the period of its implementation will cover the years 2022 – 2032 The program will be implemented through co-financing of projects including industrial research and development works. The catalog of the types of works will be detailed each time in the Competition Regulations. The expected initial TRL of the project is 3.
