The European Partnership Water4All has launched its 2025 Joint Transnational Call for research and innovation projects under the theme “Water and Health.” The call supports international research addressing the links between water quality, contaminants, human health and sustainable water management. Four main topics are covered:
- waterborne contaminants and health risks,
- innovative technologies for water quality and exposure monitoring,
- water treatment and exposure mitigation,
- governance, socio-economic innovation and integration of water and health policies.

- Funding decisions: September 2026
- Expected project start: late 2026 / early 2027
The call also includes a dedicated modality supporting Early Career Researchers.
For InLife, the call may be particularly relevant to research connecting water quality with food production, agriculture, environmental contaminants, microbiology, food safety and One Health approaches.
