The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) has announced two new calls supporting international scientific cooperation and researcher mobility for 2027–2028.
PAN–JSPS (Japan)
The call covers humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Projects may last up to 2 years, starting on 1 April 2027. Funding covers research mobility, including air travel and daily allowances.
- Mobility: up to 40 days per year
- Daily allowance: EUR 130/day
- Application deadline: 3 September 2026
PAN–CSIC (Spain)
The call is open to all scientific disciplines and supports joint projects between researchers from PAN and CSIC institutions.
- Mobility: up to 14 days per year
- Daily allowance: EUR 130/day
- Application deadline: 14 September 2026
Applications for both calls must be submitted electronically using bilingual application forms. Researchers interested in developing or strengthening cooperation with partners in Japan or Spain are encouraged to consider applying.
