The Foundation for Polish Science announces a call for proposals under the International Research Agendas action, funded by the European Funds for a Modern Economy program (MAB FENG). The International Research Agendas (MAB FENG) action supports the creation or development of specialized, world-leading research teams and organizations where scientific excellence and international competitiveness of research can be achieved. Applicants under the MAB action may be research organizations. The applicant must indicate the Principal Investigator of the project – a person holding a scientific degree, who is the main author of the project concept and responsible for carrying out part of the project tasks. The Principal Investigator is the leader of one of the research teams involved in the project. Funding can be awarded for R&D activities, including industrial research or experimental development work, carried out in cooperation with at least one foreign scientific institution. The project topics must fall within the scope of the National Smart Specializations (KIS). Funding does not cover basic research.
A single project may receive up to PLN 30 million. Funding is awarded through a competitive selection process.
The total budget for this call amounts to PLN 120 million. Call no. 2/2025 will be open from April 22, 2025, to May 12, 2025, until 4:00 PM (Polish time). The call is open to all interested research organizations.
