The Slovak Academy of Sciences invites outstanding researchers from around the world to apply for the IMPULZ 2026 Grant Program, supporting the creation of independent research teams and high-impact scientific projects in Slovakia.

- Funding: up to €160,000 per year
- Project duration: up to 5 years

- Project start: June 2027
The programme supports ambitious, internationally competitive research, offers assistance in preparing ERC grant applications, and provides an excellent environment for developing an independent scientific career.
Eligibility:
- PhD (or equivalent) at the time of application;
- demonstrated scientific independence, international research experience, and strong publication record;
- ability to lead a research team and attract competitive research funding.
