The Fulbrighta Specialist Program offers Polish research institutions an opportunity to invite a highly qualified expert from the United States for a short-term collaborative project lasting 14–42 days.
The programme is open to all academic disciplines. The visit may include:
- lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences,
- consultations and staff development,
- expert assessments and evaluations,
- development of joint research projects.
The host institution may nominate a specific U.S. specialist or request support in identifying a suitable expert. The Fulbright Program covers the Specialist’s honorarium, international travel and insurance, while the Polish host institution covers accommodation, meals and domestic travel.

- Eligible visit period: 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2027
- Project duration: 14–42 days
The programme provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen Polish–U.S. scientific cooperation, develop new research initiatives and bring international expertise to the Institute.
