We would like to remind you that the National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the SONATA BIS 14 call for proposals for research projects aimed at establishing a new research team conducting basic research. The call is targeted at individuals who obtained their doctoral degree between 5 to 12 years prior to the year of application submission.
In this call, funding can be obtained for the remuneration of the research team, including scholarships for students or doctoral candidates, the purchase or creation of scientific research equipment, and covering other costs necessary for the implementation of the research project.
In the SONATA BIS application, the project leader cannot be the same person indicated as the project leader in an application submitted to the OPUS call for proposals, for which the funding decision has not yet been finalized. This condition does not apply to project leaders in OPUS LAP applications.
The budget for the call is PLN 150 million.
Applications must be submitted exclusively in electronic form through the OSF system, available at https://osf.opi.org.pl, in accordance with the application submission procedure. The application submission guidelines are explained in the Guidelines for Completing Applications in the SONATA BIS 14 Call in the OSF system.
The application submission deadline in the OSF system is September 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
