The National Centre for Research and Development has announced the second call for proposals under the Government Program NUTRITECH – Nutrition in the Light of the Challenges of Improving Societal Well-being and Climate Change. The main objective of the program is to increase the availability of products and solutions for proper nutrition by 2030 through the implementation of research and development results, while taking into account the principles of sustainable development.
The specific objectives of the program are:
- implementation of developed solutions (health-promoting products, nutrition plans, processes, technologies, and related services) aimed at reducing the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases (including diet-related illnesses)
- implementation of developed solutions (personalized diets, health-promoting products, support tools, and services) targeted at individuals affected by chronic non-communicable diseases
- implementation of sustainable development principles into the production and distribution processes of health-promoting food through technological solutions.
As a result of the NUTRITECH program, Polish research institutions and SMEs will receive support in developing their capacity to create and apply solutions based on scientific research, providing a developmental boost to the economy and benefiting society.
The minimum amount of project funding is PLN 2 million. The maximum amount of project funding is PLN 20 million. Application deadline: July 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
