For the fifteenth time, the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) will select young scientists who, leading their teams, will conduct research and development projects in the LIDER program. You can obtain a grant of up to PLN 1.8 million to implement individual ideas. The call for applications will start on February 19, 2024.
The project aims to plan research and development work, the results of which may have practical applications and implementation potential.
The competition is addressed to representatives of various scientific fields and has no thematic restrictions. The target group of the competition are doctoral students, academic teachers without a doctoral degree, people preparing their doctoral dissertation on an extramural basis, and doctors or post-docs who obtained their degree no later than 7 years from the date of submitting the call for proposal.
The project must be implemented in cooperation with an entity (e.g. a university, an institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, or an institute operating within the Ćukasiewicz Research Network) that will employ a project manager for the entire duration of the project and other members of the research team for the period of their work on the project.
The call for applications will start on February 19 and will last until March 29, 2024 (the last day of the call for applications until 4:00 p.m.).
