The AGROSTRATEG Strategic Research and Development Programme, approved by the Minister of Science and Higher Education in January 2026, aims to support the implementation of innovative solutions improving the efficiency and sustainability of the Polish agricultural sector.
The programme focuses on four thematic areas:
- T1. Sustainable plant production and improvement of soil fertility
- T2. Sustainable animal production
- T3. Digital agriculture – technologies and data analysis for optimising plant and animal production
- T4. Innovative agricultural techniques – alternative farming methods
AGROSTRATEG will support solutions related to precision and digital agriculture, climate adaptation, sustainable plant production, animal welfare, reduction of veterinary drug use, efficient use of natural resources, circularity and waste reduction. Projects will be selected through competitive calls for proposals, which will be announced under the programme.
Total programme budget: PLN 500 million.
