PRIME Project – Announcement of the First Call for Applications

The Foundation for Polish Science announces the call for applications for the PRIME project, implemented under the European Funds for a Modern Economy (FENG) program. The call will run from January 13 to February 13, 2025.

PRIME is aimed at researchers working in Polish research organizations who wish to assess the market potential of their research outcomes and develop commercialization strategies, including establishing spin-off companies. The project is carried out in collaboration with the UK-based organization Oxentia Ltd.

The project consists of three phases:

  1. Phase I (6 months): Competence-building and initial market validation.
  2. Phase II (12 months): In-depth market analysis, product development, and commercialization strategy creation.
  3. Phase III (12 months): Support for spin-off companies in implementing business and product development plans.

Project teams comprising a scientific leader, a business leader, and a technology transfer advisor are eligible to apply. Participants will have access to training, workshops, boot camps, mentoring, and expert consulting.

Funding for Phases I and II amounts to up to PLN 313,904, with a total budget of PLN 6,500,000 for the call.
