On December 4–5, 2024, the Rising Managers Academy hosted an engaging workshop at Tuwima 10, led by Iwona Kieda, Senior Project Manager and Head of Communications at the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research.
The training session focused on mastering the art of clear and effective presentations, a crucial skill for today’s scientists. Participants enhanced their ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, increase the visibility and impact of their research, foster trust and collaboration, and seize new networking and career opportunities. The workshop covered principles of verbal and non-verbal communication, techniques for building meaningful connections with an audience, and effective use of body language and active listening. Participants also learned how to craft engaging written and oral presentations. As a practical exercise, each participant prepared a professional self-presentation, equipping them with a valuable tool to confidently showcase their expertise and ideas.
This inspiring session proved to be a valuable experience for all involved, leaving participants better equipped to communicate their work effectively.
